JOB CAPTAIN - SAN JOSE

Gensler Architecture, Design and Planning Worldwide, is looking to hire a Job Captain for our San Jose office in our Northwest Region.

The ideal candidate must meet the following qualifications to be considered:

Hold a degree in Architecture or Interior Design

Have a minimum of three years experience as a Job Captain

Possess strong technical skills utilizing AutoCAD or REVIT

Have extensive experience and knowledge in building codes, standards and building structures

Possess excellent communication and management skills

Strong organizational skills

The Job Captain will be responsible for:

Providing project team coordination for plans, details,  and specifications required for construction

Preparing and ensuring accuracy of technical documents

Participating in the construction administration of project assignments, including quality control

Working with consultants, contractors, fabricators, specification writers, and regulatory agencies to meet overall project objectives
