INTERMEDIATE INTERIOR DESIGNER - SAN JOSE

We are seeking an Interior Designer who has extensive experience in the design of commercial office interiors. The ideal candidate will have proven skills in the selection of FF&E, finishes,  and materials for projects.   They will communicate effectively and collaborate as part of a specialized team of professionals. Essential skills in space planning and conceptual design, as well as the ability to clearly present ideas to team members and clients are necessary.
Responsibilities of the Interior Designer will include:
Conceptual design and design development of interior projects
Selection of interior finishes, furniture and equipment
Review pricing, materials and value engineering for projects
Produce space plans, furniture plans, elevations, conceptual and finished design presentation documentation
Incorporates applicable building code and ADA code compliance regulations
Provide solutions to design problems and generate design alternatives
Review drawings, mock ups, materials, and finish samples submitted by project contractors
Delivers the highest quality of professional service
Qualified candidates must meet the following criteria to be considered:
3-7 years experience
Holds a degree in interior design from an accredited program
Strong organizational, communication and presentation skills
Proficient in space planning
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe Photoshop, 3D Studio, sketch up and free hand sketches
